This new link design has a wider section on the end of the hook enabling it from involuntary detaching from eyelet of the next link.This chain will run in your existing Model 400 Material Movers System and  Will Not Detach in your Pit pump or sawmill blower systems. The original design of the Graetz flite is as important as the Graetz link, affording you a double life when you use Graetz chain. The rounded wear shoe is the key to extended years of service life. This large formed wear shoe is made from the same thick high-quality steel as the Graetz link. The 1/2-inch thick by 3-1/4-inch long Graetz wear shoe prolongs flite life and protects the gutter floor.We are the original designer and manufacturer of the Hook & Eye Barn-Cleaner Chain Systems which was patented by Edward Graetz and Paul Patz in 1951. (We manufacture and sell complete units and all components for the 400 Series Barn Cleaner System.)
